Project:
The goal for this project was to
rebrand a magazine through
creating a new style of cover using
alternitive wordmarks. This project
was also used to explore the use
of ai image generation as a tool.
Concept:
I figured I would explore some concepts/ ideas that could never actually exist in reality. I
was able to do this using AI via StableDiffusion to generate some images for this project.
One magazine cover was built with the concept of an “Underwater Issue” of Thrasher
Magazine. Another cover is “Retro-Future” In a reality where skateboarding was popularized in the 1920’s. The last iteration is based on The Grateful Dead “Blues for Allah” album
artwork. Each magazine has its own custom wordmark and grid layout.
Significance:
This project shows my interest in skateboarding
aswell as the capability to create graphics in a
variety of styles.
