For an excersize in class the challenge was to create a poster for a classmate who would be a famous designer in 20+ years. My goal for this poster was to create a custom wordmark using a magnum sharpie (The really big one) I wanted to make this poster represent Alba as a person. In order to do so I interviewed Alba, some key points from the interview include: She was born in Spain, enjoys traveling and hopes to integrate travel into a career with graphic design. For this reason I tried to create a Wizard of Oz look and feel with a map as the background.
After finding this book I wanted to create a design magazine as computers in art has become intertwined with graphic design in the modern world. The concept I landed on was a Sharpie Bazooka; As even graphic design can be used as a weapon as proved by propaganda worldwide.
